Oldsmar Cares is very proud to host the 5K Memorial Run to commemorate those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We will also be honoring our Veterans and First Responders throughout this great event! You can get involved as a runner, walker, and/or a sponsor. For sponsorship information please go to http://www.oldsmarcares.org Oldsmar Cares, Tampa Bay Brewing Company (TBBC), and the City of Oldsmar, are teaming up, along with other sponsors, to provide this popular 5K Memorial Run on Saturday, May 23rd,2020. We are expecting to attract more than 600 supporters & runners. Our goal is to commemorate those who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep us free, and to raise funds to expand Oldsmar Cares’ services for Military Veterans and First Responders who now call Oldsmar and the Tampa Bay area home. State Street, Oldsmar, FL 34677 Race course The very fast and flat race course will run along upper Tampa Bay along the water and several of Oldsmar’s beautiful parks, including Veterans Park, on Shore Dr. There is a time limit of 1 hour and 5 minutes for all runners/walkers. Please be sure you are able to do the 3.1 miles within the time limit. Stroller friendly event must start in the back of the pack. Bring the little ones out to enjoy. Your Race Registration Includes: 1 Custom "Honor our Heroes" t-shirt. Guaranteed to pre registered athletes only. 1 post race meal provided...no one will go hungry. Professional Chip Timing for all athletes. Results post on line after the event. Drawings for merchandise from local vendors. Awards Overall Male/Female 3 deep age group awards: Male/Female ages 14 and under Male/Female ages 15 to 80+ in 5 year increments Refunds The event management reserves the right in event of inclement weather, emergency, or natural disaster to cancel the event or move to a later time.
